In 2000 I started Opus Studios and ran a successful commercial recording facility there for 16 years whilst extensively gigging and touring. As an engineer I have worked across every genre of music from classical, jazz, rock, metal, folk, pop, hip-hop, synthwave and house. Recently finished writing a ballet for BAD, as well as launching my own artist's career, and notching up over 150K plus streams in my 1st year. I have a particular interest in synth pop, synthwave and retro pop myself and am regularly working with other artists in this genre. However I have also produced a lot of work in the rock/pop field, working with and for some big named artists over the years and getting to work in some amazing studios. I've mastered thousands of tracks for Disney and Warner artists, in addition to film/tv properties like Star Wars, Marvel, John Wick, Fast and the Furious, and This Is Us. Howard Lakins-Graves, also known as “Maestro,” is a self-taught producer originally from Pittsburgh, PA, now based in Tennessee. I am a drummer, percussionist and composer that has collaborated on more than 100 recordings as a guest artist, including the GRAMMY award winner Yo-Yo Ma and Friends, Songs of Joy and Peace and the GRAMMY nominated Fun Home.
