A: Novice producers typically use generic sounds, they don't push the boundary. Often they use loops and don't put much thought into the realism of the performance. Much of this unhelpful workflow comes from ego. When working with clients, I never start the conversation about my own taste of music. Instead, I begin with listening to the artist with the intent of every artist leaving with a new found confidence in their sound. Q: What's your strongest skill? A: Drum Programming. Eric Nealante Phillips known professionally as Nealante aka Neo is a American record producer, songwriter and audio engineer. He received widespread acclaim as an engineer in 2022 after becoming the sound mixer for the Box-office hit movie Avatar: The Way of Water.

My career spans over 25 years of producing, mixing and composing with the industry's top artists, writers and musicians as diverse as Pat Monahan (Train), Darius Rucker, Shinedown, Shontelle and many more.
