Hello all. My name is Ryan Sands. I'm a young, dynamic drummer from Connecticut with the aspirations of being one of the greats in modern Jazz music. As a musician, I prioritize feel, subtleties, and rhythm when I'm working. My style of play has led me to work with Phil Markowitz, Dominque Eade, and being a rotating member in the Christian Sands Trio. Currently mans the drum chair for the upcoming New York-based Free Improve collective, Altus, featuring David Adewumi, Isaac Levein, Neta Ranaan, and Nate Reising. For the last couple of years I've been leading my own trio, the Ryan Sands Trio, and this fall I'll be releasing my debut record, Standing on the Edge of Tomorrow. Fi is a London based sound engineer, mixer and producer. Her artist portfolio includes Amahla, Amy Gadiaga, Plumm, Kokoroko, Blue Lab Beats, Emma-Jean Thackray, Sophia Thakur, Neev, Hanakiv, And Is Phi, amongst many others. Beginning as a runner at Strongroom Studios in Shoreditch, she gained invaluable experience working amongst some of the most knowledgeable and creative engineers and producers in the industry. She progressed to an assistant role, working with artists such as Jorja Smith, Mark Ronson, Pussycat Dolls, Miles Kane, Ben Abraham, Ravyn Lenae and more. In early 2019 she began freelancing at Red Bull Music Studios in Covent Garden, where she engineered on a regular basis as well as running engineering workshops for Normal Not Novelty.
