Howard Lakins-Graves, also known as “Maestro,” is a self-taught producer originally from Pittsburgh, PA, now based in Tennessee. Best known for his contemporary R&B productions, Howard blends melodic storytelling with modern grooves—drawing from a wide spectrum of musical influences beyond just one genre. I am a drummer, percussionist and composer that has collaborated on more than 100 recordings as a guest artist, including the GRAMMY award winner Yo-Yo Ma and Friends, Songs of Joy and Peace and the GRAMMY nominated Fun Home. Most recently, I can be heard playing percussion on the movie soundtracks of Joker and Gemini Man. Hi! I'm a touring/studio drummer based in Paris France. For the last 7 years I've been playing with several international artists like Zaho (RNB) Mika (Pop) Melissa Laveaux (World Pop) Kimberose (Soul Pop) and Holy Two (electro pop).
