Helienne Lindvall is an award-winning professional songwriter, musician and Board Director of the Ivors Academy (formerly the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers & Authors), as well as the writer behind the Guardian music industry columns Behind the Music and Plugged In. She Chairs the Ivors Academy Songwriter Committee as well as the Ivor Novello Awards Committee, and is the former Head of Business & Songwriter relations for the song data management platform Auddly, backed by hitmakers Max Martin and Abba’s Björn Ulvaeus.
Hailing from Sweden, she worked as a session singer, recording artist and performer in Stockholm and NYC before settling in London, where she signed a publishing deal with BMG Scandinavia. Since then she’s been working with recording artists on both sides of the Atlantic, including Roger Sanchez, Big Daddy Wilson and the Dark Tenor, collaborating with award-winning writers including Jörgen Elofsson (Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears), Patrik Berger (Icona Pop, Robyn) and Steve McEwan (Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood). In 2016, her song A Better Man, co-written by Andrew Fromm (Backstreet Boys, Mark Anthony) and Peter Kvint (A-ha, Andreas Johnson) made the UK Eurovision finals.
In 2007, Helienne started writing about music for the Guardian. Her weekly column Behind The Music covered and analysed all areas of the music business, from the creative process to issues surrounding copyright. In September 2012, her next column, Plugged In, launched on MediaGuardian – and she contributed a chapter for the Swedish book Myten om Internet (The Myth of the Internet).
Helienne has written columns for Digital Music News, Netopia, The Musician, The Australian and STIM-Magasinet, and regularly appears on Sky News, the BBC, Irish National Radio and Swedish National Radio, championing songwriters’ rights, copyright and discussing other music industry issues.

My visual art includes photography, 3D design, VJ shows and videography. Most of my work is based on live generated audio-reactive images where I play with association between colour & sound, movement, light and human's deep hidden emotions that come out only in specific situations.

Hello! My name is Tricia, and I'm a multidisciplinary artist presently living in Montreal. My work centres around public performance, illustration and play. I love to learn and teach, and employ humour, storytelling, art, and multimedia to bring people together. Focusing more on the side of dance and how music joins us, it is only recently I have begun to explore the creation of audio work. I consider myself a collaborator, with other artists, the community, and the environment.

I'm a freelance musician, journalist and communication consultant for venues, festivals and non-profit art organizations.
I write in English and French, manage a handful of social media accounts, record music and tour in Canada (i.e. drive long hauls to play shows occasionally).
My home base in Europe is in Brussels and at Studio Astro in Rotterdam. I'm a Nova Scotia ex-pat and 'third-culture kid,' also an award-winning musician, writer and caretaker at Apartment613 in Ottawa.
I'm a partner at Pop Drone, an international arts promotion and management company; and co-owner of So Sorry Records, a not-for-profit music label promoting Canadian artists.
Former media relations director for the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival, Ottawa Fringe Festival, Music Yukon, subDevision, Undercurrents Festival, and Off-Jazz Ottawa.

I founded Indie Band Guru over a decade ago for the pure love of music. My journey has taken me from musician to promoter to manager to booking agent to publicist to blogger to record label founder and even grabbed a degree from Berklee College of Music in Music Business along the way. The music business has been a passion for me for as long as I can remember.
IndieBandGuru.com is an online music magazine geared toward emerging independent artists–and their fans. They have featured everyone from festival headliners to bedroom rockers, providing a spotlight on great new music that needs to be heard.
A love was developed for discovering new music, writing reviews, and conducting interviews, but the real passion is helping propel unknown bands out of obscurity to a place where they can finally make a comfortable living within the new music industry.
My team at IndieBandGuru now provides Artist Development Management and Independent PR campaigns as well as writing services and coaching consultations. Getting your Press Kit in order is of utmost importance.

My name is DC Medina from Hartford, Connecticut. I was born in the Bronx in the early 90s and once called the paradise of Puerto Rico home.
I have been writing professionally for over ten years. In college, I minored in creative writing and showcased my prowess by working for the school's paper and the literary magazine as a section and genre editor respectively. I have freelanced as a news reporter, and wrote for EDMTunes.com between 2012 and 2013, covering events and reviewing music.
My musical journey began in 2002 with a jestful death metal band I started with my best friend called "Chaos Informed." I learned the trumpet, timbales, drums, and a bit of the piano between 2002-2008. But in 2009, FL Studio turned my world around, sparking my music production career. Dutch house remixes in 2010 of classic Deadmau5 and Skrillex songs garnered me some attention and led me to my first full album, "The Russian Lady Diaries," in 2012. Since then, I have released 3 full albums, 5 EPs, and numerous singles.

As well, I specialize in many other skills. I'll be putting in humanitarian donations with a part of the money I make off music. I like travelling, sky diving, and white water rafting. I try to make my own genre by mixing existing ones, but the stores seem to think I focus on Future Bass. All of my knowledge on music comes from passion, and teaching myself how to make my own music. Indie pop
Melding together lyrics brimming with hopefulness and positivity with a unique arena-ready anthemic sound, lightcraft exist to shine a light of hope on the world through every note and melody that they produce.
Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, anthemic-indie rock unit lightcraft first got together in the year 2005 when original members Imam Surataruna, Fari Febrian, and Enrico Prabowo were studying at the same university in Selangor, Malaysia. Currently a quintet with drummer Yopi Santosa and bassist Muhammad Rizky – both joined the band in 2012 and 2020 respectively – lightcraft take on themes surrounding humanity and global phenomena while combining to become a united symbol of diversity represented by the five different individuals that make lightcraft as a solid and dynamic entity.
lightcraft have several releases under their belt, including debut EP “The Modern Seasons” (2006), debut album “Losing Northern Lights” (2008), sophomore album “Colours of Joy” (2014), second EP “Another Life”, and third full album “Us Is All” (2019). Their latest single, “Run Away”, was released by US-based label group Circulate Music on September 11, 2020 and is a collaboration with Singaporean producer DSML.
Critically acclaimed both domestically and abroad, lightcraft have displayed their knack for marrying their distinct, hook-filled sound with an infectious and powerful live performance. This mighty combination has enabled them to mesmerise audiences into a higher state of consciousness and taken them across the globe, where they have performed at major international festivals and on renowned stages in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Canada, the USA, Russia, China, Mongolia, and the UK. Prestigious festivals that they have graced with their presence include SXSW, Liverpool Sound City, V-Rox, Taihu Midi Festival, MUSEXPO, Monsoon Music Festival, Big Mountain Music Festival, Bangkok Music City, We The Fest, Canadian Music Week, Indie Week Canada, Music Matters Live, Zandari Festa, Baybeats Music Festival, B Festival, Playtime Festival, and Sakurazaka Asylum, among others.
As a band that holds dear the fate of humanity, the preservation of the environment, and the world’s future, lightcraft were chosen to become ambassadors for non-profit organisation Bersih Nyok!, while also contributing their efforts to The Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation and the Sahabat Anak Foundation.
The musical career of lightcraft is about creating an upward momentum to go the distance; to break boundaries, and to carve a meaningful journey in life.
Keep dreaming of the bees and the butterflies.
