My name is Mark also known as Markpain in the music industry. I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York City and became professionally involved in music in my early 20's as a music producer and artists. Growing up in a tough city I channeled my energy musically and was able to obtain being signed to Motown Records as a producer for 5 years under music mogul Michael Bivins of the legendary group New Edition. My involvement in the music business enabled me to do what I love and obtain the prestigious RIAA Gold Award for my contributions on the Bell Biv Devoe second studio album entitled HootieMack. I was also featured in a music video with Boyz II Men considered the worlds most successful boy band worldwide, in a world premiere video entitled 1-4-all-4-1. Through my contribution to the album it peaked at number 54 on the billboard charts and registered Gold with the RIAA . I am currently still writing, producing, and doing everything independently. I am an original music producer who specializes in dark hip-hop beats and trap instrumentals. Once a 'Spotlight Producer' on BeatStars, then turned exclusive producer for indie artist Zero (now known as Zero9:36).
