I am a session drummer, studio owner, live drummer, songwriter, arranger, and producer. I've lived in NYC, Los Angeles, Houston, Cleveland, and now reside in Austin. Much of my life has been dedicated to recording and touring. I am a Grammy Award-winning drummer & percussionist who has performed and/or recorded with a diverse range of artists including Jennifer Hudson, Billie Joe Armstrong, Melissa Etheridge, Cynthia Erivo, Kristen Chenoweth, Wynton Marsalis, Kurt Elling, Donny McCaslin, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Nicholas Payton and more. I have recorded on more than 75 albums and have held the drum chair on 6 Broadway shows. I'm known for my dynamic playing and stylistic range & love collaborating with new people & projects.

I'm a drummer and producer raised in New York City. Stylistically I would describe my sound as a hybrid of Punk-Rock energy, mixed with Dance-Club flair. Nirvana meets Electronica, and all points between. As a touring musician I've backed up bands such as Mother Feather (Rock*) Miike Snow (Indie*) Puscifer (Progressive*) Fischerspooner (Electroclash*) Big Data (Alternative*) As a session musician I've recorded for the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Miley Cyrus, Puscifer, Goo Goo Dolls, The Unlikely Candidates, plus many more. As a producer I've made hundreds of songs in various genres for both the YouTube Audio Library, and Facebook sound Collection. I look forward to working with you!

I've toured the world and made records with my band Fickle Friends for the last decade and I play drums for anyone who asks. Most recently post pandemic I've been playing drums for other artists and expanding my home recording setup to work remotely. Hi there! A little about me: I have been playing drums for 14 years and have a Bachelors Degree studying music at Berklee College of Music. I have also been performing professionally for the past 8 years and have been based in Los Angeles for over 4 years. In that time I have been able to perform and tour with artists and bands such as Derek Hough, Sofia Reyes, JMSN, and many more. When Im not on the road, I am playing local shows LA as well as recording drums for a variety of artists in my custom built home studio.

I am a hard working and reliable musician very passionate about my craft. I am still excited about music and working with new musicians. I have been working as a touring and recording professional based out of LA for the past 15 years. I am easy going and always up for new Ideas and suggestions for new and different approaches to making grooves. I have a masters degree is Jazz studies but also grew up playing in church, and with school choirs as a youngster. I read, program, and also also play by ear. Hi! I'm Ross Hodgkinson & I'm a professional studio/touring drummer, show programmer and musical director based in Los Angeles. I've toured and/or recorded internationally with artists including Del Water Gap, UPSAHL, Skylar Grey, Eva B. Ross, Ethan Bortnick, Jacob McCaslin, Karli Webster, Jessie James Decker and Katelyn Tarver. I graduated in May 2017 with a degree in drum performance/music production from Berklee College of Music and record remotely for clients around the world from my studio!

With my skills obtained over the past 2 decades, I aim to create new sound, and even a whole new genre that will reshape how music is understood. I spend my time creating new sonic sensations clashing genres of all scapes, from the creation of “Anchovies & Ice Cream” to our soon-to-be realized products and upcoming album “Noir”. I work for “Dust Gang records” as a musical consultant, production, and musical consultations/ marketing/branding department for “Budo kiba” record label and create my own music as “Palu,” from “Paluyota,” and "Abbott”. Having connected with artists such as “the Internet”, “Clerel”, “Wayne Tennant”, “Paul Cargnello”, “Khudo soul”, "Uni-G" even “Edo Lee” (one of the forefathers of Low-fi), the musical platform has become my outlet towards connecting with greater artists.

Los Angeles native, Gil Sharone, is highly regarded as one of the most versatile session and touring drummers in the world, who is known for his creativity, authenticity and strong pocket. He is a multiple-time industry award winner as a drummer, but will often wear other hats as a co-writer, producer, and an educator/clinician. Gil came to notoriety in the rock world as a former member of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Puscifer, Marilyn Manson, Stolen Babies and Team Sleep. However, he is widely known as an expert in other genres. Reggae, ska and rocksteady were part of his earliest influences along with jazz, funk, hip hop and fusion. Gil has established himself in the Jamaican drumming styles, authoring an award winning DVD and book entitled Wicked Beats, after playing with legends Eek-A-Mouse, HR of Bad Brains, Dave Wakeling, and more recently with Slightly Stoopid, Morgan Heritage, and his current reggae/dub outfit, Gil, Migs and Rog. Gil is also an active member of a genre bending music collective, Saudade, where you can hear his jazz fusion collaborations with jazz greats John Medeski, David Torn, Robert Thomas Jr., Dr. Know and Chuck Doom. Gil’s work further extends into the film/television world, working with composers Tyler Bates and Paul Haslinger. His work can be heard in Deadpool 2, Guardians of The Galaxy 2, all three John Wick movies, The Punisher (Netflix), Kingdom and Stumptown. He has also contributed both as a player and co-writer on the DC Comics: Dark Nights Metal Soundtrack, and his most recent work can be heard in the musical score for the live action Cirque du Soleil show, R.U.N.

Hey, what's up, I'm Bakari Vashon. I'm a Seasoned Artist-Songwriter and Drummer from Tallahassee, FL. Starting in the church with my grandparents, there's a back home feel naturally in my music that attracts music lovers and artist collabs. I can turn ot on or off whenever needed.
