My name is John Gray, I'm a professional upright and electric bassist, guitarist, composer and producer. I am a jazz musician by trade, but I have experience working with world class classical, jazz, broadway, rock, pop and singer-songwriter artists. I'm available for remote recording on bass; I am a very versatile musician who can play just about any style on the upright bass (bowed or pitz) or electric bass (4 string, 5 string or fretless). Born in the suburban Italian town of Augusta, a few kilometers outside of Siracusa, the 24 years old composer has always enjoyed pushing boundaries with his film soundtrack compositions. I have been working as a professional musician for over 20 years. The records on which I played and produced, thanks to my collaboration with Luciano Ligabue, have sold around 3 million copies. I toured throughout Italy, Europe and the United States. I have played dozens of times in venues such as the Verona Arena, San Siro stadium in Milan, Royal Albert Hall in London, CBGB's in NY and Whiskey a Go Go in LA. I have a home studio with which I can make complete productions or record just the guitar parts.
