Jason Jaknunas has been a prominent figure in the Canadian music scene for over 25 years, with extensive experience in audio engineering and music production. Jason worked as Chief Engineer at Raven Street Studios from 1995 to 2002, and during this time worked with numerous artists from a variety of musical genres, including classical, blues, rock, electronica, and jazz. He has written published articles on recording technology, and enjoys building studio equipment and studio-grade furniture. Always ready to embrace current trends in recording technology, Jason feels comfortable working in both the digital and analogue domain. In 2005, he established Metropolitan Studios, which he currently owns and operates.

I am a professional audio mastering engineer with 10 years of experience. I am co-owner of Brighton Road Recording Studios. As with many engineers I got my start in music playing drums and guitar in various bands. I quickly realised that I preferred to be on the other side of the glass and I have been recording and mixing full time for over 10 years now, predominantly from Brighton Road Recording Studios which I opened in 2015.
