Born in Montgomery County MD, Miles Holt began his musical career with the trumpet in grade school before moving onto the electric guitar soon after. RocknRolla Slim has played in bands and many of the largest and most popular venues throughout the DMV area since his teenage years. Slim's guitar style is heavily influenced by bluesmen like Muddy Waters, Lead Belly and Hendrix while his hip hop production style takes elements from all coasts of the United States. After studying music at the renowned James Hubert Blake High, Miles moved onto study for a year at Columbia College Chicago before returning home to graduate from Omega Studios' School for Audio Engineering.
