Charlene "Yedveta" (pronounced ED-VEETA,her preferred name), Robinson is the daughter of (Postal Worker), Charles E. Robinson Sr., and (Minister and Professional Vocalist), Sarah G. (Stevens-Stafford), formerly Robinson. She is of Native American, and Irish descent. She is the Director of FIRST, LLC, her film entertainment company; and, is a Producer, Writer, and Composer. Her company is currently in Pre-production with the feature film "FIRST": The Dr. Dorothy L. Brown Story. She was also Videographer and Cinematographer for international jazz artist Marion Meadows's "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" Christmas video, and for his hosting of the Miami Dade County 2020 Virtual Smooth Jazz Festival featuring his "Autumn Leaves" video. Yedveta also represented the State of Alabama in Las Vegas, Nevada holding the crown for Mrs. Alabama United States Nationals, and has appeared as guest soprano saxophonist on DR.BOBBY JONES' show. View her in Tyler Perry's movie For Colored Girls in Identical featuring Ashley Judd, Ray Liotta, and Seth Green, and Boulevard featuring Robin Williams. Yedveta appears in the following music videos: Cleve Francis' I Won't Let You Walk Away, Hotel Whiskey/Hank Williams/Clint Black, I Wouldn't Have it Any Other Way/Aaron Tippin, Born to Love You/Mark Collie and Una Experiencia Religiosa/Enrique Iglesias. She appeared in ABC's hit series, Nashville, and television commercials such as HCA Hospital; Hometown Heroes; Channel 2 News Nashville, TN), and Fine Arts International Hair (BET Network). This playwright, actress, vocalist, drummer, saxophonist, and songwriter kicked off "The Music City Jazz & Heritage Festival" which featured such international acts as Boney James, Zapp, ConFunkShun, Jackiem Joyner, After 7, Phil Perry and many more. She was featured talent for the Music City Jazz & Heritage Festival Jam Session along with international acts such as Marion Meadows, Jo Johnson, Joey Sommerville, and Mel Williams. Yedveta was featured entertainment for the Marion Meadows Meet and Greet Party, The Juanita Bynum Fresh Fire Revival, and opened for other well-known acts such as Johnny Taylor, Cheap Trick, Bo Diddley, Joe Savage, Clarence Carter, Chairman of the Board, and Bobby Rush. She traveled all over the United States and Europe performing with Percy Sledge, Bobby Byrd (Soulciety Records/Europe) formerly with James Brown, Vickie Anderson (Soulciety Records/Europe) formerly with James Brown, Carleen Anderson (Soulciety Records/Europe), Sammy O'Banion and Mardi Gras (Coca Cola Entertainment), and the Jimmy Church Band (Nashville,TN). She recorded and performed with Storm (R.K.R. Productions), which featured Grammy Award winner Mike Dean, Gregory Knowles, and Jonathan Robinson. She also recorded with Demetrius Alexander-Stewart (Puresprings Records), Albertina Walker (Benson), Clifton Davis (Benson), Bobby Byrd (Soulciety Records Europe), and Novella Williams and the Crusaders (featuring Dr.Bobby Jones). Yedveta reserves the professional titles of Film Producer, Paralegal, and Audio Engineer/Sound Designer. Not only is she musically and physically fit; but, she speaks to teens and parents about healthy lifestyle choices; and, sits on the board of The Kirkland Mils Foundation which assists Veterans and individuals affected by Alzheimers. Hey everyone! My name is Calvin Thomas. I have been performing professionally for about 10 years now, playing mostly acoustic pop/singer-songwriter tunes but also other genres such as jazz, folk, and fingerstyle. I perform live (private events, markets, restaurants, etc), I record (my own music, session work for clients), and I broadcast livestream music shows via Twitch 3 days a week. Nice to meet you all!
