Hello, Im VCastro. Im a rookie musician from Spain who needs to create something everyday: I play acoustic guitar and drums, and my way of learn to play always has been self-taught, closing my eyes and stealing from my unconsciousness what it sounds good and great. Even though I love music, I think my greatest skill is to write (songs, poems, rap, stories, etc). Now, Im learning how to use Logic Pro for my "inventions"; and my influences are TOOL, Tom Waits, Robert Johnson, Stoner Rock and my fucking suffering <3. I can write lyrics in english and spanish

I am a Lyricist and Scientist creating musical volumes dedicated to helping humanity to achieve and sustain individual, community and environmental wellbeing. I have a Ph.D. in Education and a Ph.D. Minor in Linguistics from Stanford University. I am the former Assistant Professor of Multilingual and Multicultural Education at University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, and an inaugural fellow at The Peace Studio. My musical works are informed by a neurocognitive perspective, a teaching and learning perspective, and from the perspective of a performer engaged in the work of Moving Crowds both physically and politically.
