I have a deep, extensive knowledge & understanding of music making, production & record releasing many styles like techno, electro, breaks, ambient, experimental. with most at the cutting edge of those genres. Toured China, India, S.Korea, Russia, Europe. Played at Boiler Room, Dekmantel & Resident Advisor. Playing live & DJing. More than a decade of authoritative releases on labels such as Ilian Tape, Tresor & Return To Disorder & counting Aphex Twin, Mary Anne Hobbs, Helena Hauff & DJ Stingray among admirers, the latter being collaborators. Galaxian has made a crucial contribution to modern electronic music de-constructing & turning it on it's head while making bold strides into unexplored territories. Often recognised as a pioneer & innovator, his inventiveness is only surpassed by his ability to mine consistently new seams of sound, rhythms and intricate arrangements.

Imagine releasing a song or an album that sounds exactly how you envisioned. It sounds professional, competes with music on major streaming platforms, and moves people from all over the world. As a mix engineer, my goal is to realize your vision and deliver nothing short of a perfect mix. Specializing in urban music, I have worked in professional recording studios to help artists inspire the world through their music.

I'm a Korean-Canadian musician and engineer based in Brooklyn, NY. I have been playing and mixing (touring/venues/studio) full-time professionally for 10 years. While I gravitate towards the soulful side of music with personal projects, I love listening to and working in varying specific genres like celtic folk, ambient instrumentals, hip-hop, death metal, classical, and generally experimental music. I also love post production work like ADR, foley, and fx.

When people ask what I do, I tell them, "I get the call, say yes, fasten my seatbelt and take it off at the appropriate time." From remixing Michael Jackson multitracks for two Cirque shows and an album on Sony, to putting together live shows for Rihanna, Cher, Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, Beck, to recording live shows for P!nk, to remixing a mashup for NKOTBSB, to performing audio post on three Madonna Blu-Ray DVD releases, I've been fortunate and blessed to work with the best of the best. Services available include audio editing, producing, mixing, mastering, stem preparation, live show playback production, keyboard/synthesizer programming and vocal tuning. I also play keyboards, tenor saxophone, bass, drums and guitar. I also work with the following digital audio workstations (DAW's): Logic, Digital Performer, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Cubase and Reason, as well as Serato DJ and Rekordbox. I have used Melodyne for over 10 years, with a variety of today's top artists.

Influenced by Bay Area and Houston culture I inherently blend hip hop, R&B, Trap, and Soul to create a unique sound. My melodic rap style and captivating hooks will lure you into memoirs ranging from love and heartbreak to street hustle and success. Although singing and songwriting are my focuses, I have also co-produced a majority of my catalogue within the duo group CATCHAFLIGHT, featuring my long time best friend, J Skyyler. My artistic background in the fine arts allows him to be more hands on with the image he portrays as a musician. Using watercolors, I paint an image as vibrant as my instrumentals to create each of my cover arts. I have opened up for the likes of Rae Sremmurd, Kid Ink, IAMSU, Rayven Justice, Berner, and 2 Chainz.

I've mixed and/or produced almost 300 albums up to date, 200 of which are golden or platinum awarded records. I'm the founder of the highly respected Black Rock Studios, on the breathtaking Santorini island, one of the best modern residential studios on the planet, chosen already by some of the brightest artists of the world’s music industry (Bring Me The Horizon, One Republic, Bjork, Justin Bieber, Joe Bonamassa)

Coming from a musical family, I found music & the guitar at a very young age. Fascinated by the guitar's ability to forge unique connections, I have pursued sound, the craft of music, adventure, and those rare musical connections for over thirty years. From childhood through high school I played music with my brothers. We played loud & fast, with angst and creativity! In college, I studied classical guitar for nearly a decade with the famous Romeros family of Spanish guitarists. During this time I earned Bachelor's & Master's degrees in music. In 2012 I performed for the Dalai Lama and 13,000 in attendance at San Diego State University's Viejas Arena. I perform a variety of styles and I have performed at the L.A. Music Awards, the Sundance Film Festival, and at festivals in the US & Europe. In addition to performing, I have composed and recorded music for TV & film and produced award winning tracks.
