I am a self-taught guitarist and I have been creating music for many years as a hobby, my recording studio is my bedroom and my old PC, my musical influences and inspirations come from: Jimi Hendrix, Mike Oldfield, Florian Fricke. I also composed a 40-minute musical work inspired by TUBULAR BELLS by Mike Oldfield with the Italian title (Campane Tubolari).

Raysan Ismail is considered as an important symbol of the contemporary music movement in the history of modern Iraq. He is known for his diligence in modernizing the forms of Iraqi music in line with the spirit of the times. He embodied this through his musical compositions that are not devoid of the tone spectra of Mesopotamia. He is a violinist first and foremost, and a skilled composer. He is also skilled in singing and playing other musical instruments.

I went on to major in composition at Tokyo Gakugei University and completed a postgraduate degree in film music at Tokyo University of the Arts. I began composing professionally while at university, creating pieces for stage and film as well as events and commercial spaces. After completing my postgraduate degree, I found work primarily in the world of film music as an assistant for Joe Hisaishi, one of Japan’s most globally recognizable composers and, concurrently, for an experimental composer with a core anime fan base. I developed and honed studio skills and experience through close involvement in a diverse range of Japanese and international projects, including movies, TV shows, and commercials, working as orchestrator and copyist for composers male and female, up-and-coming and established.
