♬ ♫♩♬_φ(･_･ Takako Jennings Composer, Arranger, Orchestrator and Keyboard Player I spent much of my early education in Australia, before returning to Japan. I went on to major in composition at Tokyo Gakugei University and completed a postgraduate degree in film music at Tokyo University of the Arts. I began composing professionally while at university, creating pieces for stage and film as well as events and commercial spaces. After completing my postgraduate degree, I found work primarily in the world of film music as an assistant for Joe Hisaishi, one of Japan’s most globally recognizable composers and, concurrently, for an experimental composer with a core anime fan base. I developed and honed studio skills and experience through close involvement in a diverse range of Japanese and international projects, including movies, TV shows, and commercials, working as orchestrator and copyist for composers male and female, up-and-coming and established.
