Taking his career to the next level, he moved from Denver to LA to attended ICON Collective College of Music. OPTIMVVS is a multi-faceted artist currently based in Valencia, Spain. Born as WooJae Chung in Busan, Korea, he was raised in New York City, USA—a personal history that lends him a unique cross-cultural perspective and sound. His artistic practice threads together hip-hip music with his training as a filmmaker and actor. This melding of creative mediums ultimately produces OPTIMVVS, a captivating storyteller, transmitting his message through words, images and performance. In October 2023 he released his first official single: "Rescue Me" (2023).
