Brian Yegge, born in Houston, Texas, has been drawn to music since his earliest memories. A sense of natural affinity led him on a musical journey, where he honed his talent on a diverse range of instruments, from guitar and keyboards to cello and piano, culminating in mastering his favorite instrument - the bass guitar. Specializing in an array of genres such as Rock, Alt. Brian demonstrates a unique versatility that only a handful of musicians can claim: Rock, Goth Metal, Ambient, Dark Ambient, Avant Guard, Jazz, and more. His initial foray into formal training began with guitar lessons at the age of ten, but it was the bass guitar that really resonated with him. His skills and passion for the instrument took him to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where he delved deeper into Jazz music under the tutelage of experienced instructors. Brian's first significant breakthrough came in 2006 when he recorded with the band Primary at Electrokitty Studios in Seattle. Albums such as "Crashing Into Nothing" with Primary and "Arete" with Angershade are noteworthy additions to his diverse discography. In addition to his band collaborations, Brian has remixed tracks for renowned artists including Depeche Mode, Garbage, Nine Inch Nails, and Madonna. However, Brian's true musical obsession over the past five years has been his project Angershade. The instrumental project is a revolt against the current music landscape, which often relegates music to the background while focusing on lyrics. Angershade's compositions are deliberately loud, melodic, and multifaceted, weaved together to form a rich tapestry of dark, gothic soundscapes. The path of creating music is not without challenges. The process of creating and choosing versions of each piece can be exhausting and demanding. However, the satisfaction of bringing his music to life outweighs the struggle, as evidenced by a track like "Envy," which has over 129 iterations. Having established himself in the music industry, Brian's aspirations lie not in financial success but in people truly listening to his music. He hopes to revive the appreciation for instrumental music, though he doesn't rule out the possibility of incorporating lyrics in the future. His journey so far stands testament to his dedication to his craft and his unwavering pursuit of music that resonates on a deeper level. Even without formal recognition or awards, Brian Yegge is a name to remember in the music world, representing a passion for pure music and a challenge to the status quo.

Having been a producer myself, I get the strong connection we have with our music. I've been there, I know all the time and passion an artist pours into a track. That's why, in my mastering process, clear and direct communication is key. Understanding the artist's vision isn't just a step; it's the heartbeat of the whole project. With my masterings I always include: – Feedback on the mix – I will analyze your premaster and let you know in case there’s something you can improve to get a better mastering. – Unlimited modifications – my goal is to get the master you want, no matter how many times I have to work on the project. – Only pay if you're 100% satisfied. You make sure you only spend your money if you are completely happy with my work.
