PASSIONATE MUSICIAN , THAT LOVE WORKING WITH OTHERS. Described by his peers as being the youngest in charge he is highly respected by those who’ve come before him. DJ Xxx-Rated has created a legacy that will live for many years to come. DJ Xxx-Rated’s DJ career catapulted in 2002, when members of his community asked him to DJ at the Annual Regent Park Block O Rama. DJ Xxx-Rated delivered a first class performance at this event, which is still often reminisced upon today by his peers. Organizers of this event were so pleased with his performance that he has become the official DJ for this annual event which is now in its 5th year. Along with delivering such a star like performance each year at the Annual Block O Rama, DJ Xxx-Rated has also participated in various community events such as the Regent Park Sunday in the park, Mel Lastman Square March against violence, the grand opening of Catch the Flava Radio/News paper, Regent Park Funky Fridays and the annual Fundraiser for the Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs. DJ Xxx-Rated alongside his DJ partner JJ Rock are wrapping up their yearly High School Tour with Jam Van. Along with his amazing DJ-ing skills, DJ Xxx-Rated is a budding self-taught sound engineer/Producer with many up and coming projects in the works. A master in the mixtape game, DJ Xxx-Rated is on the eve of releasing his 9th edition of “More Fire” scheduled to be released June 28th, 2008. This self mixed and mastered Reggae mix is undoubtedly the most anticipated mixtape of the summer. The veteran producer, sound designer, media artist and Kamizdat label head honcho has been active on the domestic Slovene electronic music scene since the mid 90s, specialising in computer music, electroacoustic and noise experiments, elaborated IDM beats, incidental music and AV performances. A prominent protagonist of the Slovenian electronic community, he has performed at many relevant festivals and venues in Europe and beyond and collaborated with numerous international and local artists.

Marcel Gschwend aka Bit-Tuner has been producing electronic music since 2001, using a variety of analogue and digital sound generators as well as field recordings to create his musical works. His sound is often described as dark, captivating and atmospheric and has earned him a loyal following. He is recognised in the music scene for his unique blend of bass-heavy hip-hop beats, electronica and ambient, and has built a reputation as an innovative and genre-bending musician. Bit-Tuner is also known for his energetic live performances, where he captivates his audience with an immersive and experimental soundscape. Over the years, he has also composed music and developed sound design for theatre plays, fashion shows, art projects and films.

Son premier souvenir musical ? Son père qui écoutait de la techno en voiture, pour l’emmener à l’école. Nebra attrape le virus tout petit, et c’est incurable. Autodidacte, il s’équipe de ses premières platines, et mixe seul, tous les soirs dans sa chambre. En 2004, il est prêt, et fait ses débuts sur la scène underground. En 2010, une rencontre décisive le fera accéder aux plus belles cabines de Paris, au Divan du monde, à la Java, au Redlight, au Folie’s Pigalle, au Batofar, au Glazart, et plus récemment au Spootnik et au Badaboum. Nebra est à l’aise partout, même là où on ne l’attend pas. Ses sets finement ciselés sont cosmiques, hypnotiques, et lumineux : conjuguant house / minimale et pépites groovy, il fait danser les Parisiens qui s’endimanchent comme ceux qui s’encanaillent.
