ACEoteric Music is an overarching persona for songwriter, vocalist and instrumentalist Alissa Catlin Evans. Her most recent project is ACEoteric and the Future Past Lives in which she is the primary writer and vocalist and collaborates with various other musicians to record and release records under that name. She is currently working on writing a musical for film or television.

I love music. I listen to many genres and enjoy talking about music and its intricacies. I've been in many bands and have done my share of collaboration. I enjoy constructive criticism and the process of working on music in a collaborative manner. Listening to a piece of music, tweaking it until you find the right sound and rhythm. Finally, having the soundscape to introduce and guide the poetry or vocal expression that will form the final masterpiece and breathe life into the composition. I decided not to get into music as my sole profession because I was afraid it would destroy my love for it. I'm in love with music, but I don't love the idea of making music to be sold and mold myself to fit into the container of the industries choosing. Some will agree, others might prefer the dark side and kudos for that. I decided not to take that pill. So in a nutshell, that's me. I compose, engineer and market my own material. Very far from a noob, but this is a hobby I am extremely passionate about. Nice to meet you.

Hello from Central Europe! Hello from Central Europe! I started with Yamaha Portasound PSS 480 (https://www.vintagesynth.com/yamaha/portasound-PSS-480) in 1990 when I was 9, and my ten-year-old kid plays the same piece today. I learned most kinds of harmonica when I was around 12, added flute a bit later, and started experimenting with computers and computer music in 1993 or 1994, trying to learn how to control a simple DAW (Fruity Loops). The computer was just another instrument, and I used it for fun. At around 19, I happened to serve a very decent 12 months for the MoD of Slovakia, where I had a lot of free time, a Steinway piano in an empty auditorium, and a pretty average guitar with steel strings. It was tough to play, but I got used to the pain since I gave it several hundred hours. A few weeks later, I finally understood what "I got blisters on me fingers!" by John Lennon means. Later, computer systems, networking UNIX and GNU/Linux, and programming became my hobby and profession.

In a world crowded with noise and opinions, multi-instrumentalists Ryan Baker-Barnes finds meaning in crafting songs that are atmospheric and emotive. In a world of so many words, Akaroa's instrumental approach allows the listener to escape the confines of the world around them through haunting melodies, captivating textures and thoughtful grooves; music that is equal parts nostalgic and hopeful. Drawing on inspirations such as Tycho, Washed Out, M83 and The Naked and Famous, Akaroa blends ambient guitar-scapes with reverb-washed synths and live drums; blurring the lines between downtempo, chillwave and IDM. The result is invitingly lush, warm and organic. Ryan is also a song writer for the Church Revival Fires. Ryan has lived in the UK for 2 decades, after immigrating from Zimbabwe to pursue opportunities in musical expression. Ryan lives and writes in Dudley, the West Midlands, a region resonating with a new narrative inspired by a rich history. A fitting location for this moody music of hope.

I’m a third culture kid who has been exposed to music from all walks of life. This has given my approach to creating music an international theme when it comes to harmonies and percussion. Redhue Records is more or less an experiment and a gamble by me, DJ Matador. I think there is an emerging "Post-Apocalyptic" sub genre of hip hop that intertwines future and industrial sounds with throwback and nostalgic melodies, including classical music, early 1900s vinyl, 50's and 60's doo wop, Motown, 80's synth, and 90's rap. I am discovering that mixing these sounds together can create both frightening and beautiful mindscapes full of grittiness, angst, and a sense of longing.
