What does my music sound like? To me, it’s like if Dave Matthews Band and Bruce Springsteen had a child who was raised on Blink-182 and Pink Floyd—then handed a 90s mixtape made at a worship concert. I call this sound “Northeast Alternative”...a culmination of my life’s genesis and the reflections that stem from it. It all started in the hills and cultural textures of my hometown in Northwest New Jersey, where the rugged landscapes and small-town stories shaped my DNA. These roots remain the foundation of my personal and artistic identity; an anchor in my ever-evolving musical journey. Now based on the beach coast of Delaware, I’m launching Ridge Road Records, a new chapter that honors these roots while embracing new horizons.

I am a mental performance coach who uses music to create motivational and visualization songs. Music is not only entertaining, but it also helps people maximize their mind and soul. Some of my songs are motivational in nature. They usually have a specific person in mind. I write them to lift that person and anyone identifying with the song. Others are meant to explore the very real voices in our heads and our struggles in dealing with them. By giving voice to these concepts, I hope to help people find the courage to explore their relationship with their inner voices. Of course, I also hope to entertain. Music is only effective as a tool if the listener enjoys it.

Thank you for visiting my profile! I’m a new songwriter and lyricist who loves music but doesn’t have the ability to sing or play instruments. With a background in graphic design and a knack for remembering songs and artists after just one listen, I’ve always had a strong connection to music. One day, I decided to channel that love into songwriting, leading to my first creation, Lost Soul. However, I faced a challenge—without musical talent, I couldn’t bring my lyrics to life. Determined to hear my songs, I turned to AI tools to create the music and vocals I couldn’t produce myself. Using AI, I’ve been able to create an entire album, blending my creativity and ideas with advanced tools to produce something beyond my natural abilities. I release all my work under the band name Smokey September and hope to one day become a recognized songwriter—or even one of the first notable AI-driven music artists.
