Ang13 is Hip-Hop. From the age of 13, she has gone from break-dancer, to graffiti writer, emcee / producer to radio personality. 13 also knows her way around a pair of technique turntables so there is no aspect of Hip- Hop that she does not know. Music is her forte and where she reigns supreme. She received her training in the culture through practice and execution. 13 keeps her hand in every aspect of Hip-Hop, but music is the area in which she is most creative. She received accolades in magazines such as “ The Source” being named one of the undergrounds “ Best kept secrets” and countless write-ups in The Chicago Tribune, (“ Reigning Women in Hip- Hop” , M. McCormick) “ Midwest Rap Gap” Upski Wimsap, “ Hip Hop for Hunger” , D. Jakubiak), The Chicago Sun-Times, Caught in the Middle Magazine, Humble Quest, Route 2k,The Chicago Defender, The Reader, and Chi-Rock Magazine. She is one of the most respected icons in Mid-West Hip Hop and is dubbed a legend. Her music has graced such projects as, B-Girl:The Movie, The US Census, Nike Mix CD, Sprite Mix Tape, Chicago Rocks, The 50 Man Cipher (Rec Center), Chicago vs. New York, Jurassic 5 , Power in Numbers DVD (Interscope), and Adventures of a reluctant Superhero. She also consistently releases her own solo EP’s and Albums. She is a Columbia College, Women and Gender Fellowship recipient for the Wonda Woman Project Zero Tolerance Tour which took on the challenge to reconstruct the negative image of women in the hip hop culture. Ang13 was selected by the U.S. State Department and sent to Cote D’ivoire, Africa with the Chicago Hip Hop Initiative to teach how the hip-hop culture is used for peace and tolerance as part of the Cultural Envoy Program. Currently, she is a host on Power Style Radio and guests hots on alternative radio stations. 13 takes the direct approach in her lyrical subject matter. Growing up in the streets of Chicago, she has been able to speak the language of the streets with the intelligence of a scholar. She studied masterminds and learned how to captivate the masses. She has an innovative style and is nothing like the “average female rapper”. Her lyrical content is intelligent and up-lifting with an edge. Her word play is so clever that she is able to reach consumers from the streets to Wall Street. She is considered to be one of the most respected participants in Hip Hop Culture.

I’m Yvngze, I was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 2002. I was moved around a lot growing up & had a pretty bland childhood. I had a very controversial life ever since I was born & i am always the main topic of every setting when my presence is introduced. i have eternal energy that is ever lasting & is positively beneficial for everyone I come in contact with. i am very selfless and I work strictly to give a better life to my parents and my siblings. I grew up with a passion for music and started making music for fun at the age of 12 in middle school and I took the stage name yvngze at 13 and started taking my music more serious in 2017. Late 2019 I dropped my first body of work. I am here to fulfill my quest in life and Give to the unfortunate, i was Gifted to help everyone see the positive outcome of all negative vibrations. I was Given the keys of life to teach the world how to inherit the same mentality so they can learn for themselves and to teach Generations to come the same. People will always have their options and perspectives but it’s really up to you.. what will you do to make a difference, what will you do to show others how to be be a leader.
