On a cold desert night in a small village in Northern Mexico… Roberto Antonio Carlos Delgado Enrique Iglesias Martinez is born. His family, on the run from the notorious drug cartel "Los Lechones", flee to the United States. Shortly after, they join a traveling circus. His brother and sister excel at everything — juggling, trapeze, fire breathing, bearded lady-ing, but Rob could do none of these things. Unsuitable for the spotlights of the bigtop, he was cast out — assigned to tend to the circus animals. It was here that he befriended his mentor, an albino tiger named Doug Hermley. Hermley was close to retirement at this point, but in his prime, he was a decorated photo journalist. He was forced into circus-hood after refusing to write a fluff piece about a nasty corporation that was widely suspected of mistreating animals. Hermley could no longer jump through fire hoops with the ease of youth. Knowing he would soon prove little use to the circus, Hermley took Rob in as his protege, determined to pass his knowledge and experience on to the boy. Rob was a fast learner, quickly picking up on composition and focal lengths and the way they could make the viewer feel. Hermley was moved by the boy’s willingness to learn. It wasn’t long before Hermley, satisfied he had taught the boy all that he could, ended the apprenticeship, but not before one final lesson… “Work hard, be kind, and be true. This is how you earn your stripes.” The following day, Hermley was gone and Rob never saw him again, but Rob vowed to continue Hermley’s legacy — storytelling with truth and feeling, never compromising what he believed to be right, and being kind to all.

I grew up playing Violin, and singing Soprano 1 in the Philadelphia Boys Choir, which ultimately pushed me away from practicing music at a young age. In middle school I picked up skateboarding which became my main passion for many years. Skateboarding introduced me to video cameras, which I also fell in love with. I moved from Philadelphia to California my Senior year of college after my car was stolen, to work a photo/video editing job that I quit 6 months later, to become full time freelance. I struggled financially to do what I loved, did a ton of traveling to film skating, and then got picked up by some automotive directors / producers which made my life more comfortable. I eventually picked up a guitar, and naturally over time started buying music gear that I thought was cool. I didn't really know what to do with it or how to record anything, but I've been going with the flow ever since. Recording music is now probably my most favorite past-time, and it's only the beginning

I'm a video specialist and multimedia designer based in Southern California, where I also happened to study Design | Media Arts at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I have a profound interest in the intersection of both art and design. However, within that broad spectrum, I'm specifically engaged in videography, editing, online content, and graphics. Whenever possible, I try to explore and incorporate influential ideas from counter-culture and experimental technology to enhance my work. Currently, I serve as Content Creation Manager at VIZIO, one of the few remaining American TV / electronics manufacturers, located in Irvine. Prior to that, I was New Media Specialist at FilmLA, the regional Los Angeles non-profit film office, where I fulfilled all design initiatives in the communications department, including but not limited to, branding, web design, advertisements, and collateral media for prospective city clients / production studios. For more than 8 years, I was Studio Manager at the digital agency, Evolve Media, where I was involved in creating content and optimizing the video production workflow for the online entertainment network, CraveOnline (now Mandatory). As an additional creative outlet, I was also a founding member of COLLABO, a collective that performed live visuals for many major-label music acts, in addition to designing and producing unconventional media art installations.
