Joyce Griffiths is a singer/songwriter/producer from York, UK. Joyce has been writing and performing her own songs for over 3 decades with 6 solo albums under her belt along with numerous stand alone singles. Joyce was a member of techno/grunge band Reborn from 1999 – 2004 writing all the lyrics, vocal melodies and piano pieces during this period. "There are a number of songs in the Reborn archives still to be recorded…one day it might happen! " Joyce also provided backing vocals, along with fellow songbirds, for the mighty Vesper Walk on a large number of their tracks and live performances 2013 - 2018. The most memorable performances being Edinburgh Fringe (2015), York Theatre Royal (2016) and Brighton Fringe (2018). Joyce also took part in many of their musical videos and a film. Joyce has retired from live performance (for now!) and is concentrating on music and video production. “There are lots of projects in the pipelines folks!!”

Thanks for checking out my profile! After a lengthy hiatus due to medical roadblocks, I am very active as a singer/songwriter. I can write in most genres & approach creative songwriting as a man with many hats in the closet. I write a song then take the hat back & get another. I was a staff songwriter in Nashville after fronting two rock band around Beaumont, Texas in the late 1960s. After an initial 6 1/2 year battle with spinal injuries, I returned to LIVE performance in Galveston, my adopted hometown, in 1998 until 2008, when I lost feeling in my right arm and began a new round of intense bone on bone pain. I've been in a wheelchair for 15 years but have hopes of getting back on my feet after replacement of my knees. I was told I would be bed-ridden and never play my guitar again. Wrong on both counts...jd I will be posting 7 CDs for download purchase ASAP - Two full band and 5 acoustic/vocal - Telling me I can't do something is like waving a red flag at a bull. jd
