Young and enthusiastic sound producer started his sound exploring in the northern part of the world where you can walk on a glacier under the aurora lights. Fresh off his latest High Pressure single GLUONGUN has continued to impress drawing inspiration from distant galaxies and the light of innumerable undiscovered stars. Today, he is experimenting with cosmic sounds and ambient, sharply focused on pushing the boundaries of the space sound limits and seeking for new worlds to conquer.

​A frontman in both violin performance and composition, Martin St-Pierre is renowned for his versatility, specializing in Classical, Rock, and World Music. St-Pierre has extensive knowledge of traditional Chinese, North Indian Classical, Eastern Europe, and various Middle Eastern music styles. St-Pierre collects and plays stringed bowed instruments from all over the world, including Nepal and Middle-East. Martin’s Erhu and Yailli Tambur solos were regularly featured on Bear McCreary’s Battlestar Galactica’s score, soundtrack, and Socom 4 video game. As a classical and contemporary violinist, St-Pierre has performed with multiple orchestras, including the world-renowned Le Nouvel Ensemble Moderne and I Musici. St-Pierre’s many projects have included members of White Zombie, NIN, Perfect Circle, and Primus, to name a few. His own group, Opium Machine, performed at Coachella 2007. St-Pierre has recorded, arranged, and performed with Trent Reznor, was the original violinist for Cirque du Soleil’s Quidam, performed with Cheval Theatre, and currently performs as a violinist and assistant musical director in Cirque Du Soleil’s original Las Vegas masterpiece, Mystere. St-Pierre was an orchestrator and score coordinator for Christopher Young on numerous feature films, including The Grudge, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Spider-Man 3, and soundtrack co-producer for Ghost Rider. Martin’s orchestrations and orchestral programming can be heard in the spectacular water show, Le Reve, at Wynn Las Vegas. As a composer, Martin's vast array of styles can be heard throughout his compositions. His work has been featured in several award-winning feature films. Having scored several short films and animations, St-Pierre has completed his third feature film. Martin’s numerous compositions for theater, cirque, and dance companies include; Valitar, Lucent Dossier, Cirque Montage, multiple individual cirque artists' acts, and Chimelong International Circus, the largest permanent circus in the world. An accomplished orchestra conductor, St-Pierre is an alumnus of the highly prestigious Pierre Monteux School for Orchestra Conductors in Maine. In 2004 St-Pierre was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. In 2006 St-Pierre won the Composer Lab Fellowship at the Sundance Institute.

Long-time musician turned songwriter.

Hi folks, thanks for checking out my profile. I am a private music teacher for piano, voice, flute, and also direct a group of singers called The Shantymen. I perform solo and with bands, my main gig being with The Woolley Jumpers. I've finished recording an album titled Virgo Rising, the release is on the way. My original music has been waiting a long time to be shared, some of these songs are 20 years old! I'm so excited to finally put it out there, trusting it will find its way to those who resonant with these songs. When I write a song, it usually serves as medicine for me, singing my way through dark times in the search of hope and peace. I hope this music can serve you in such a way, bringing comfort and ease, empowerment, joy, release, whatever you need in that moment!

Nocturnal Solitude was formed and founded on September 23 of 2007 by Tomas Hrafnasen. With love for Gothic / Funeral / Death Doom never ceasing, he still wanted pursue his musical attributes. In 1996, the formation of a Goth Rock band called Eternal Rest, was created. Things went down hill and went sour fast. Quite a few members had been kicked out for drug use. Quitting seemed to be the right thing to do, but at the same time he wanted to find people who were and are reliable. The search was hopeless. Then in 2007 is when the idea arose of doing music solo came to mind, but had no idea how to go about doing it. He acquired some help from a few musician and band friends on Myspace and with the right equipment, is what started the Dark Ambient, Gothic, Funeral, Death Doom project...Nocturnal Solitude.

Hardly ever, does someone feel that they have fully completed a work of Art. Just the statement alone, “a work of art” implies excellence, pride and most importantly, Completion. How does one tell when art is finished? In our own heads it seems that a project never reaches precision, and never ever completion. Now this may not be for everyone, but there’s a point in creativity when you feel you could do more harm than good by continuing onward. Except that when we do continue, we usually reach a place that we never though possible before. God gives us that inspiration and we hold ourselves back from realizing its full potential of our own fear of going beyond what we might perceive as good enough. For me, I know that I am still bridled by that innate fear of ruining something I’ve started, felt was finished, but should have taken further. The music I create as default_test_tone will try to break away from the default and become the melodic precision that I’m inspired from within my head.

I'm a schooled and seasoned guitarist and vocalist who runs my own studio in the wilds of Western Canada. The bio I'd originally put here was so long I couldn't save it; suffice to say I've played in so many bands I can't remember them all and I've done hundreds, if not thousands, of gigs. Joshua's (Motorcat) electronic musical journey spans over two decades, ignited by a transformative trip to England and the Netherlands in the mid-90s where he was formally introduced to the new sounds he was hearing and the scene that was flourish there. This experience sparked a passion that propelled him into the wave of electronic music to hit Vancouver Island in the 90s.
