I've been blessed to tour and record for some amazing artists and bands in my life. While electric guitar is my main instrument, I also play acoustic guitar, lap steel, pedal steel, dobro, omnichord, and banjo. While working with Ashley McBryde I was fortunate enough to record the electric guitar parts for her three time Grammy nominated debut album, Girl Going Nowhere which was produced by Jay Joyce. I grew up around recording studios in Nashville, and I've never not known a time where I was playing music in some capacity. Lately I have shifted a bit to production and remote sessions. I have a great collection of mics, amps, guitars, pedals, etc., and I know how to use it all. If you need any remote tracks, help with production, or some mix notes, please reach out. I am a Classically trained guitarist, looking to blend the old and the new. I’ve been singing and playing guitar since age 13. I grew up in the early 1960s listening to the radio and my older sister's records. Like many musicians, my first musical heroes were, and still are, the Beatles. The Animals, Hendrix and Led Zepplin followed. John Mayall's Blues breakers with Eric Clapton then Peter Green were next. Stan Web and Chicken Shack, Freddy, Albert and BB King all influenced my guitar playing as did the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kenny Burrell and Grant Green. I've written music and played in cover and original bands most of my adult life. Bands include, The Sovereigns, Mike and the Stingrays, The Stilettos, Blueprint, Roundhouse, and the short-lived Luminators. My original recordings reflect my life experiences and influences. My cover tunes are those that mean something important to me be it lyrically or musically. I’m very happy that people all over the world are listening to my music. Spread the word. lived
