Born in th Dominican Republic, DJ Nilson Diaz Gomez arrived in Canada in 1998 and brought with him just a few salsa records, cds, and a deep love and passion for the flavour of the music and dance. Being a professsional dancer in Puerto Plata, he also had a strong feel for the unique and 'danceable' rhythms the music had to offer. It was that same love and passion for salsa that spawned his professional DJ career in Toronto in 2001. Today, DJ Nilson's rare and beautiful dalsa music collection consists of over 4000 vintage LPs and CDs! His favourite styles are New York and Puerto Rican, both new and old school, Boogaloo, Latin Soul and Latin Jazz. DJ Nilson has been DJing for the past 20 years in many places such as London, Turkey, Istanbul, Bermuda, New York, Montreal, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Rochester, and of course his home town, Toronto. Nilson has unparalleled respect for the dancers that are on the floor dancing to his music.

The Trinity Project is an independent pop artist based in Toronto, blending genre-fluid sounds with themes of queer love and personal growth. Originally Italian-Peruvian, but growing up in Sydney, Australia, he’s been performing since childhood, but it wasn’t until moving to Toronto at 19 that he began writing music. Drawing on diverse influences and lived experience, his sound is ever-evolving, with a focus on storytelling and building a community. His debut album Arrival drops on Friday, August 1, 2025.
