Born Rashawn Wright to Jamaican parents, heavily influenced by Rastafari culture in the 90’s section of Brooklyn NY. Brooklyn has been known to be the melting pot of diversity with a massive Jamaican presence. Big Sound Systems stringing up in the dancehall, Great stage show performances with the most influential singers and deejays of the reggae genre shaped R King Redemption’s musical perception. Pounding the pavement with the sound of the dancehall, bred a host of talented offspring to preserve the culture. R King Redemption embodies the essence of reggae dancehall music culture by bringing his unique style and charismatic delivery as well as his styled versatility.
