SOV^ is the musical project of Daniel Sova, seamlessly blending electronic pop, 80s synthpop, film score elements, and synthwave into a soundscape that bridges the past and the future. Drawing inspiration from the 80s synth music that accompanied his long childhood drives across Australia, SOV^ creates cinematic, atmospheric, and irresistibly catchy synth-driven tracks. SOV^’s music takes listeners on a nostalgic and emotional journey, capturing the essence of love and loss through warm synths and evocative vocals. After stepping away from music to focus on family, Dan has returned with renewed energy and a deep connection to the sounds that defined his early years. His latest project, Beyond The Veil, reflects the influence of his early trance productions while showcasing his evolution into the synthwave genre, with subtle 80s synth-pop influences permeating every track. SOV^’s music is a tribute to the past that also pushes forward, blending retro influences with modern electronic.
