Guam-born, Alaska-raised, London-educated, Morocco-cultured and LA-made, Proper D aka Dennis Caasi brings a sense of geographic and ancestral diversity to his music; a mix of electronic, hip hop and worldly sounds that are a true testament to his adventurous and multi-faceted life. Whether in music or community work, Proper D’s goal is to produce elevated experiences, bring people together, and contribute to the betterment of society - all while having fun doing it. He also leads development efforts for the non-profit DTLA PROUD and planning for their gala, festival and LGBTQ+ community center. After years of prolific journaling and carefully studying the musical techniques of female rap artists like Trina and Nicki Minaj, Proper D began to transform the words in his journal into lyrics. An avid supporter of local queer artists and unconventional ideas, he decided to practice what he preaches and embark on his own music journey.

Heart Blade comes from a highly musical background. Heart was a published creative writer at the early age of 11. She began creating her own beats in 2012. From 2013 on, It didn't take long for Heart Blade to bring her sound to life. Starting on the engineering side by; Recording, Beat-making, Mastering and Producing all in her home studio.
