I'm a film composer ,producer ,songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. I've written music for multiple television shows including Disney’s Doc-series Pick Of The Litter ( 6 Episodes Score Composer 2019 ) NOVA’s The Impossible Flight (Score Composer 2018 ) So You Think You Can Dance (Composer Seasons 3-6 2008-2010) , American Idol , Orange Is the New Black ,Nashville, Bernie Mac Show , Make it or Break It ,Superstars of Dance ,MTV’s -Celebrity Rap Superstar, Bad Girls Club , Paris Hiltons New BFF, Wake Bros Downtown Girl’s ,Keeping up With the Kardashians and The Devils Ride. Dave’s music has also been featured in several commercials, including Direct T.V ,Express and JC Penny’s. As a drummer Dave has played or recorded with Stevie Wonder, Angelo Moore & Norwood Fisher (FishBone), David Immergluck (Counting Crows), Earl Slick (David Bowie), Les Claypool, Michael Manring (Book of Flames), Eric Martin, Alex Skolnick, Karl Perazzo, and DJ Jay-J Hernandez. Dave has produced tracks for NoDoubt , Flipsyde and Akon. Music film credits include The Brass Tea Pot (2013) ,Velocity (Composer 2000) The Point of No Return (composer 2017) , The Final Show ( composer and winner best score in a short NYC Independent Film Festival 2018) HookUp 2.O 2019 and composer for the award winning and critically acclaimed BatKid Begins (Warner Bros 2015)

I am a New York City-based recording engineer, mixer, and aspiring producer. I have had almost a decade of professional experience working with a variety of major label artists and working under accomplished engineers and producers while coming up in the NYC recording studio scene. I am looking to share my experiences and skills in order to help bring your musical vision to life no matter where you are.

I am a 17 year career performer, altenating between the roles as saxophonist, keyboardist, composer, and educator. I specialize in live EDM, jazz, classical, hip hop, r n b, and funk. I've played in over 38 countries around the world for huge crowds, in 4 time grammy winner Esperanza Spalding's Radio Music Society 2012-2013. I received the Jerome Foundation Emerging Artist Grant 2014-2015, received a 3.5 star rating on Downbeat magazine for my 2018 album "Anomaly," and multiple other awards. I also received a Grammy Certificate for my feature on Esperanza Spalding's 2018 Album "12 Little Spells" which won the 2020 Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal. I specialize in electronic music, classic jazz, classical music, pop, composition and experimental music as well. I also have a live electronic dance band, Sistine Criminals that performs reverse engineered drum n bass, trap, hip hop, house music, and down tempo.

I'm a classically trained guitar player, and adore projects of any size and scope. Though my bread and butter is higher profile theatrical productions, I am constantly learning, teaching, and working on projects within the community, and across Canada.

I'm a full time professional bass player. I contribute bass parts to many artists around the world almost on a daily basis in various styles. I've been working remotely for many years and have myriads of experience. I love meeting and working with artists and helping them make their vision come through. I'm based out of Southern California but sometimes feel like I'm worldwide because of the places many artists are located that I get to work with . I'm noted for a very clean, well recorded tone and playing for the song. It's always a blast working together and getting it the way you want it. I've maintained a busy schedule, and have lived worked in the New York, Nashville, and Los Angeles area, as well as live gigs, tours, in the states and in Europe.

I play remote sessions and live for many artists around the globe in a variety of styles and really enjoy working with artists and helping them get exactly what they are looking for. I've been doing this for about 30 years, from my time in the New York area, through my 27 years in Nashville, and LA areas. Now I'm based out of Florida. I have a great deal of experience live, on tour and also in the studio. I use Digital performer 10 and use several basses and very high quality preamps and gear. I read music very well, and also am a free improvisor. I'd love to hear from you.
