Hello! I’m Lawrence D. Benson, PhD, MFA. I’m the founder of Sōma|Flourish and am the artist/producer known as ‘speyeskool’ and ‘TheFlyyProfessa’. I’m influenced by & create House, Hip Hop, R&B, Dance, & Pop. I began seriously making music over 20 years ago using Mixmaster & then Sony Acid Music & loops. I was experimental. I developed a style that was not dependent upon traditional song or production structure, or an ultimate goal of making money. I opted for creativity as the end-all-be-all. My basic idea regarding my production style is that pan and volume get a track 90% or so there, to my goal of a balanced track. If I can make a song sound good by panning & using various volume levels, then whatever tools I use in the future would be polish. Further, if I don’t have access to those tools, I can still produce a well-balanced track. I’m from a musical family of singers, writers, producers, & instrumentalists. I love music & I love making music. I also love dancing & baking yummy vegan cakes & pastries!✌

DJ PD, a synonym for diversity. He‘s counting 16 years of experience in all kinds of music and genre and is never too shy to do a good shout-out on the microphone. It doesn‘t matter if he performs as a DJ in a club or an Open Air Event, his sense for mixing new and old lifts him up to a must-have in the party scene. The same diminution is proposed when it comes to Wire Fish's primary thematic emphases: "Our new 'On the Pier' EP is a miniature trilogy, itself built from some minor sonic sketches. They concern certain aspects of human relationships - but there's no point in giving them a fixed, specific meaning.
