Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Shane's life has been intricately woven with the tapestry of music since his toddler years. From the tender age of 2, Shane's love affair with music became evident as he serenaded family and friends using nothing more than a makeshift comb as a microphone. Bernie Gresham III is a co-founder of the Urban Gypsies Music Group Chicago and mentor to many; since co-founding the UGMG Chi in 2003, he has taken many artists under his wing, helping them to flourish. Having studied music since he was in the womb and learning to play the sax at the age of ten, Bernie writes and produces not only R&B and Hip-Hop, but he is also dedicated to R.A.I.S., or Rhythm And International Soul, putting out tunes designed to tug at your emotions and raise your consciousness. I am an independent recording artist and self taught musician from Montréal, Canada. Stylistically my sound can be described as east coast influenced hip-hop punctuated with R&B melodies; stripped bare to reveal an uncluttered, poignant and stirring experience of life. There is a familiar warmth that comes from a respect for old school soul which blends seamlessly with new school high intensity lyricism and the ability to grab the listeners attention by way of sound, style and content.

I seek to create a musical experience that not only entertains but also stimulates the mind and soul. My goal is to create a space where listeners can immerse themselves in the psychedelic realm and embark on a personal "J1s Journey" of self-discovery and exploration to enlightenment.

At 47 years old and having some 30+ years of playing music behind me - I love music as much now as I did when I was a kid. My tastes are diverse as are my influences. I've played in original bands, cover bands, done session work and enjoy writing original music more than anything. I'm flexible and easy-going and am very committed to always trying to push myself musically and maintain the standards I value most - compelling musicality, tasteful tone and always striving to improve my musicianship.
