I am a musician and composer passionate about creating soundtracks with a cinematic, ambient, lo-fi, and folkloric touch. I play various instruments and find inspiration in the film scores I love so much. When I compose, I aim to express feelings and affection for memories from my past, whether they are good or bad. Each composition is an emotional journey, capturing significant moments and transforming them into music.

I can't come up with a good profile picture, lol. I make some music sometimes for ROBLOX games and just games in general. Comes with that lil' touch where you can't tell what genre you're in anymore. I'd love to help work on some stuff though, even if I have no clue how the site works.

Los Angeles based musician-producer, Sean Whalen began releasing music in 2021 after working closely with a handful of talented singer-songwriters. The result, described as lush, evocative soundscapes scoring meditative moods with gorgeous layering, has guided the development of well over a dozen singles released with three different singer-songwriters; glasscat, Silke and Okafuwa. Following a short break, TAT have recently released new material in 2023, culminating in the release of a full length album commemorating the productive collaboration with Silke. 2024 promises to be an eventful year, consisting of many new releases and ultimately resulting in the release of two additional full length albums; one commemorating the collaboration with singer-songwriter, okafuwa, and another fulfilling an instrumental body of work. Sean is continually seeking out new collaborations and exploring a variety of projects, some of which are anticipated to materialize into additional releases.

I'm a person who, when it comes to work, always wants to find new ways of achieving goals and have an experimental innovation as a final result. I tend to conceive a friendly atmosphere, usually by imbuing humor. I like to multitask, and I like to finish as much as possible a day - I'm quite a workaholic. And last, but most important maybe, quality over quantity is my parole.

We're creating an immersive sonic experience, blending these beautiful dreamy, reverb-soaked guitars that I've always loved with hazy vocals that drift just beyond clarity. To me it’s about capturing the feeling of getting lost in a moment, where the boundaries between sound and emotion blur. Really it's a reflection of my own introspection, nostalgia, and longing, like memories unfolding in a fog of swirling melodies. A space to reflect, a space to feel, a space to escape.

Much more than a disc jockey and saxophonist, I am a deeply rooted music avantgardist. Music is my way to communicate and connect to my soul and the world surounding me. It allows my heart to beat roam freely, while my head remains locked in. I am a retired surgeon. I have been writing songs since I was at school. I decided to start recording my songs after I retired. All recorded in my little music room using Audacity on my desk top. Hope you find one that you like.
