NEON OX (Michael Oxman) was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and continues to call LA his home. Even as a child he was fascinated by the power and emotion of music. Embracing a variety of musical genres–classical symphonies, sweeping movie soundtracks, rock and roll, pop, and new age–Mike rarely found himself without music playing an integral role in his life. And thanks to a local public radio station, KCRW, and a famous night-time show Metropolis, Mike was exposed early on to non-mainstream genres like downtempo/trip-hop, house, trance, and drum and bass. In his teens, MikeOz began assembling electronic songs using what would now be considered basic music sampling programs. As the software sophistication increased, Mike continued to create music that spanned a number of world genres, with electronic music being his ultimate passion.

Hallo meine Lieben, Ich bin 26 Jahre alt und Multiinstrumentalist von der Ostsee. Vor 21 Jahren begann ich, Gitarre zu spielen. Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich viel Erfahrung als Musiker gesammelt. Ich habe auf meinem Weg nicht nur einzigartige Künstler getroffen. Vielmehr lernte ich einige Instrumente besser kennen. In den letzten Jahren fand ich mich in der Musik wieder und hielt zwischen elektronischer Musik und Hip Hop an. Nachdem ich mich von Musikern wie Tash Sultana, Giorgia Angiuli, DubFx, Gioli & Assia, Asaf Avidan und Eminem inspirieren ließ. Elektronische Musik für die Emotionen von Herzen Hip Hop für mein Gehirn Ich mache Musik und erstelle Sounds über meine Loop-Station. Dort sind verschiedene Effektgeräte und Pedale angeschlossen. An den Geräten befinden sich Gitarren, Keyboards, Bass und ein Mikrofon für Soundprodukte und andere Instrumente wie Mundharmonika, Kalimba, Flöte, Schlagzeug, Xylophon, Ukulele usw. Alles ist über ein Audio-Interface mit meinem iPad und/ oder Mac Pro verbunden und wird live im Recorder über Audiobus 3 abgespielt/ eingespielt. Um im Workflow zu bleiben, verwende ich ein externes Launchpad sowie Midi-Tasten und Controller Mein Künstlername: Mauy Hört gerne rein ?? Ich möchte meine Fähigkeiten mit Ihnen teilen und Sie in Ihrer Musik bereichern, sowie begleiten und außerdem für eine gemeinsame Weiterentwicklung, in unseren musikalischen Horizont sorgen. Ich hoffe, ich kann Sie und mich mit meinem musikalischen Beitrag ein wenig mehr erfüllen.  * Since 1998, whilst living in Madrid, he has worked with flamenco artists such as Miguel Poveda, Jorge Pardo, Pitingo, Rafael Jiménez "Falo", Guadiana, Agustin Carbonell "Bola", Lole Montoya, Pepe Habichuela, Rubém Dantas, Chicuelo, "Sorderita", and also with important brazilian artists such as Filó Machado, Nana Vasconcelos, Yamandu Costa, Renato Martins, Thiago Espirito Santo, etc. *Colaborated with artists of different styles from another countries: Hossam Ramzy (Egypt), Yoshida Brothers (Japan), Trilok Gurtu (India). 
 *He also was “Flamenco Guitar Supervisor” of the big production “Zorro, the Musical”, produced by Isabel Allende, with music by the Gipsy Kings and John Cameron.

Exploring sound, learning more about music and production, connecting with other creatives, and self expression are my motivations. My dream is to start a NFP organisation and run a community centre, which would act simultaneously as a hub for creatives, a jam/rehearsal space for the community, a recording studio; there'd be instruments available for people to use. It would be a safe space for those who are struggling and need support. Referrals to other services could be provided; tea, coffee, snacks. The older i grow, the more I've realised you can do whatever you want for the most part. No one gives a shit. So, I decided to start what i hope is the beginning of the journey towards the dream i described above. Introducing The Comfort Club Collective - A collective (and collection) of neurodiverse, queer, creatives working together to help transform each other's dreams into a reality. Also an independent record label, 'cause you know, you can do whatever you want.
