Ariel Kanary Amsterdam (AKA) is the musical alias of Arold Jansen, whose lifelong passion for music has always run parallel to his professional career. Moving effortlessly between pop, dance, jazz, and funk, AKA embodies a composer and independent label in one. He is bass player in the band Recovered. During his student years, he chose a four-string and became a 'bassic' fixture in the music scenes of Haarlem, Leiden, Zwolle, and Amsterdam, composing countless tracks on a beloved Fostex 4-track recorder—his first step into songwriting. In 2024, a dusty cassette tape unearthed a long-lost track from 2009. Struck by its analog warmth, he was inspired to digitize and rework his old catalog. The result: a series of releases that pay homage to the sounds of his youth —soulful, groovy, and pop-infused. The debut single True Love marks the beginning of this new chapter. Enjoy!

Shanice Atlanta Bowes is a 27 year old quirky and kitschy Singer, Songwriter and Producer from London, UK. With her eclectic taste both in and out of music, Shanice's ability to create songs that aren't exactly what others expect but end up loving anyway, is attributed to her inquisitive nature and adoration of the experimental, especially with regard to musical styles, fusions and genres. Shanice's debut song 'House by the Sea' is an ode to Canadian Megastar, Drake upon finding a GarageBand loop, looping it a few times, pressing record and jokingly singing about a picturesque mansion overlooking the beautiful turquoise sea.

I choose to let the music speak for itself, and it usually has a lot to say in most cases.

Hi, I'm Celest, I used to be a successful entrepreneur, managing several businesses and providing services to major corporations, including Fortune 500 companies. My life changed drastically when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that severely affected my organs, leading to frequent hospital stays. Determined to make the most of my abilities while I still could, I decided to write a book. This venture opened the door to writing poems, but it wasn’t enough. Music became my true outlet. I began composing music while waiting for doctor appointments or lying in a hospital bed. Despite lupus compromising my heart and necessitating a pacemaker, I find solace in creating notes and melodies. Music is now my sanctuary. I LOVE MAKING MUSIC FOR PEOPLE... I prefer working on Pro Tools and LUNA but am open to using any DAW that I need to get the job done right and on time. I am a fan of music from Jazz, Rap, Blues, Rock, R&B, Bluegrass, Metal, Country, Pop, Punk, Ska, Reggae, you name it! I listened to it and understood where it was coming from. Hella experience with different people in the music business but never have wanted to produce until recently when I started going to school for music and recording technology. I am taking it seriously and want to make an impact like never before... Corny right? Maybe, but I feel it in my bones. So yeah, I said it and I meant it! Love all of you who read this far, I know I can ramble but I want to close with this. I am here alive today breathing because of music, I aim to do the same for at least one person with every piece I work on... keep them going on. Love every one of you! I do not agree with Artificial Intelligence being used to create music, it is wrong!
