G’day, Kool here. I’m a bass player and writer/arranger and have been playing since 1981. I’ve toured both nationally and internationally and spent more hours in studios and played on more albums than I can remember. I’m also an audio engineer and have owned my own studio and live front of house PA business for many years.

Graduated from New York's Institute of Audio Research back in 2012, but I'm been playing and making music for a lot longer than that. Bass is my first love, but I play rhythm guitar, drums, produce, compose, mix and master. Currently living in San Diego, California and for the longest time I've made music just for myself and close friends, but I'm looking to expand my resume and lend help to other up and coming artists.

With over 40 years of experience as a bassist, I have honed my skills through playing in various local bands and contributing to studio recordings, bringing depth and groove to every performance. Alongside my musical career, I have a parallel track as a software engineer and web designer for over 30 years, blending technical expertise with creativity. My experience extends to mixing and sound engineering, where I’ve been responsible for ensuring high-quality sound at both churches and in bands. My diverse skill set allows me to seamlessly integrate music, technology, and design into my work, offering a unique combination of artistic and technical talents.

Combining modern, lofi psychedelia with the sounds of 70’s disco and rock, the organic dreamscape that Merry Cherry Bomb creates will carry you away into a bewitching sphere full of neon lights, lo-fi psychedelia and dream pop catharsis. Jack ls a Bassist and multi-disciplinary electronic musician from Naarm. Having completed a Bachelor of Music performance in 2016, Jack has played with a number of groups including Chicken Wishbone (2016 - 2019), Dërty Bërd (2018 - 2019). As well as ongoing musical projects with Ricewine, Ebiphe, Nikodimos, Al Carr, Jonquil Quartet, Proto Moro, Max Aurora and the Southern Lights, Synth Dads, Spanner, and Professor. Jack has toured internationally with Ricewine, as well as nationally with Proto Moro, and Al Carr. He has also played at the NGV with Nikodimos, and with Proto Moro. Jack has also released a number of albums under the pseudonyms Mada Yana, Psilophyte, Moiku Bhadu, and Gore++.

Born in Texas and raised in the border city of El Paso. At the age of 20 I was hire to perform with big Latin Artists all over the world (playing bass guitar). I am specialized in Bass Guitar, and Music Production. Graduated from the University of North Texas (BBA in Marketing). I have done multiple marketing campaigns for many businesses and artists.
