My name is Matthew Butler & I am a producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, & engineer for EMP Studios in Fort Worth, TX. I have also been a recording/performing artist for the last two decades. While working on an album in 2010, I began taking an interest in the studio itself and took the first of many steps that lead me to where I am now. Eventually, I interned and then began my career as a Recording Engineer at the acclaimed Sessionworks Studios in Hurst, TX, where I was fortunate to work with and learn from the incredible team there before joining EMP and stepping into my current role. I am grateful for the experiences I've had as an artist, but I was lucky enough to discover that working as an engineer in a recording studio is my true calling . I have enjoyed every moment meeting such talented and unique people, finding common ground, shared interests, and embarking on a journey of collaboration together while we work to bring another's (the artist's) vision to life.
