Henk Kruijthof

I'm Henk Kruijthof, songwriter, guitarist, and producer living in Arum, the Netherlands. Growing up in the 60s, I've seen many music styles come and go (and come back again). From all these ingredients, I’ve cooked up my own style of making music and writing songs. From bluesy 60's and psychedelic 70's rock up to contemporary R&B, Hip Hop and EDM.. I've lost track of all the bands I’ve once played in but there’s one I’d like to highlight. I was part of a jazzy trio with a pianist and a wonderful female singer, and we named ourselves Chinatown Rose. I still use that name for all the songs I release. So Chinatown Rose is not really a band but it's just me! Occasionally, I work with a singer but in 9 out of 10 cases, I’ll play all the instruments myself and do the mixing and mastering. I no longer feel the need to be in the spotlight myself, but I would love for other artists to cover my songs. I also write songs on commission and like to collaborate with you to create your next hit.
