I'm a freelance musician, journalist and communication consultant for venues, festivals and non-profit art organizations. I write in English and French, manage a handful of social media accounts, record music and tour in Canada (i.e. drive long hauls to play shows occasionally). My home base in Europe is in Brussels and at Studio Astro in Rotterdam. I'm a Nova Scotia ex-pat and 'third-culture kid,' also an award-winning musician, writer and caretaker at Apartment613 in Ottawa. I'm a partner at Pop Drone, an international arts promotion and management company; and co-owner of So Sorry Records, a not-for-profit music label promoting Canadian artists. Former media relations director for the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival, Ottawa Fringe Festival, Music Yukon, subDevision, Undercurrents Festival, and Off-Jazz Ottawa.
