About Little Door
psych-soul / cosmic groove I am a singer, songwriter, artist and emerging sound engineer. Right now, I am in the process of writing my first album. Music has always been a way for me to explore personal revelations, moving through blind spots in my own psyche to find truth and liberation. I grew up in a world of Yo! MTV Raps and Headbangers Ball, where I’d make my sister pinkie promise that she yell for me the moment ‘Alive’ by Pearl Jam came on. Armed with my yellow Walkman and single cassettes from The Warehouse, I soaked up anything I could get my ears on, floating away from my often dysfunctional home into the soundscapes of whatever genre in front of me could offer. I was equally enchanted by a heavy hitting 808 as with a lilting harmony. I spent hours in my best friend’s basement, digging through her dad’s vinyl collection, learning the history of rock and roll, one record at a time. My musical DNA is a wild mix of everything and anything that made me feel.
