About STOX
STOX is a Multi-instrumentalist Producer from Chicago, Illinois. Even though STOX started his music journey at the age of 11, he’s always had a spiritual connection to music. In 2014, he enrolled to further his studies in music at Georgia State University with a concentration in Jazz Studies. Shortly after graduating in 2017, STOX began performing and touring with artists that includes Dietrich Haddon, Chanté Moore, T-Pain, and 2 Chainz. By the end of 2018, things began to progress with STOX working with Summer Walker, and also worked on 21 Savage’s I Am Greater Than I Was as a bassist, which received a Grammy Nomination in 2019. That same year, Teddy Riley brought STOX onto his band as a bassist. Shortly afterwards, Summer Walker went on to go onto the Girls Need Love tour, STOX’s first long length tour. STOX became a key component in her band as a bassist, guitarist, and playback engineer for the top half of 2019. In the later half of 2019, Summer released OVER IT, which brought the “FIRST AND LAST TOUR,” an international tour, which was sold out every single night. STOX served this tour as the Music Director. To close out 2019, STOX performed with Summer Walker on Jimmy Fallon. 2020 had a major impact on the music community, yet good fortune and blessings allowed for STOX to keep working with Summer on a few iconic performances. Continuing to serve as her Music Director, STOX performed with Summer on the BET awards and more TV performances such as James Corden and Jimmy Fallon. Additionally, STOX founded and developed his creative agency, LABEL X GROUP, which specializes in Artist Management, Production and Recording, Branding, and Marketing.
