Yorel G

Yorel Gertman, known by his stage name Yorel G, born in August 19, 1992, is a multi-talented lyricist, rapper, vocalist, singer, songwriter, record producer, keyboardist, engineer, violinist, music video director, editor, and autism advocate. As an independent artist, Yorel uses his powerful voice and gift for music to change the public's perception of being on the autism spectrum. With a gifted voice without any vocal training, his excellent foundation on music technology at a college level, he credits his mother and his longtime talent for music for getting him through emotionally hard times. As he grew older he developed an increased understanding of autism, and confides that he also endured years of bullying and abuse in his teen years to the point that he considered suicide. He got out of his comfort zone after he picked up the violin beginning in 2003, became an accomplished musician in classical as well as Hip-Hop and rap music, and gained recognition combining all three genres.
