About Whitney Jones
Whitney Jones is a bright force in Contemporary R&B/Soul, blending her roles as a powerhouse vocalist, songwriter & producer into a singular, soul-stirring experience. Her music is a journey through passion and craftsmanship, designed to touch the hearts and souls of any listener. Whitney's exceptional talent led her to become the first female resident bandleader at Boston’s historic Wally’s Jazz Cafe. She has since toured as a background vocalist for Dance music queen, CeCe Peniston, and co-wrote the Billboard #2 hit “Purple Funk” with Mothers Favorite Child, which Cece is featured. Whitney’s vocal artistry has extended to working with others, as well as supporting R&B star Adina Howard in TVOne’s Unsung. For Whitney, music is more than a craft—it's a mission. “My purpose is to uplift, inspire & empower people through music, to kick fear out of their face and walk in love,” she says. Her songs serve as anthems of empowerment & healing, offering solace & strength through each note.
