Cast out in every turn for being too feminine in an 80's Christian family, being a Christian American kid in a Muslim country, and an ambiguous Indonesian descent in a saturated America, my art speaks to peculiar individuals who are discovering their own unique voice. As I identify with the misfits and the non-marginalised, I hope that my music can alleviate their affliction and say, 'You are not alone.' The colour red generally indicates 'to stop', hence Red Misery's personal mission is to stop misery with his creative endeavours, even for just a moment in time.
