About Patchez Black
Patchez Black (Patchini Beatz) is a Black-Woman composer, lyricist, songwriter, and percussionist blending funk, soul, EDM, and symphonic sound. As a Milwaukee native, she grew up immersed in the city’s vibrant house music scene, shaping her ecletic fusion of genres. Inspired by George Clinton, Rob Ayers, and Florence Price, Patchez creates music that honors tradition while igniting innovation. Harvesting such passions fostered the manifestation of Diva Haus Muzik, her own record label. And, as the founder of the Funkadelic Frequency Foundation and creator of the Afro-Sonic Movement, Patchez crafts music that’s felt, not just heard, exploring themes of identity, empowerment, and the Black experience. She blends lush orchestration, deep bass-lines, and intricate percussion under Patchini Beatz, creating compositions that resonate on a transformative level. Patchez’s music is more than sound—it’s a journey that connects, uplifts, and redefines the experience of liberation through music.
