I founded Indie Band Guru over a decade ago for the pure love of music. My journey has taken me from musician to promoter to manager to booking agent to publicist to blogger to record label founder and even grabbed a degree from Berklee College of Music in Music Business along the way. The music business has been a passion for me for as long as I can remember. IndieBandGuru.com is an online music magazine geared toward emerging independent artists–and their fans. They have featured everyone from festival headliners to bedroom rockers, providing a spotlight on great new music that needs to be heard. A love was developed for discovering new music, writing reviews, and conducting interviews, but the real passion is helping propel unknown bands out of obscurity to a place where they can finally make a comfortable living within the new music industry.
