Fug Mak
About Fug Mak
Mário A. Kanlawia or Fug Mak (fiútsh mek), also known as EmmAKappa is a Mozambican rapper, where around the 90s and much due to the influence of hip hop artists such as Black Company, General D, MV Bill, Gabriel O Pensador, SSP among others, he became passionate about the art and culture of reporting the streets, on a daily basis. In early 2000, he co-founded one of the biggest hip hop groups in the north of the country, BROKEN HEADS, with well known songs such as Tapem as Mamas, Salário... they marked a time when it was only possible to make and publish hip hop with a lot of sacrifice. Nowadays, Fug Mak presents sounds with a lineage that is not divorced from the one that connected him to the art, but more evolved and current.
