About David Laborier

David Laborier is a Luxembourg-based guitarist, composer, and arranger known for his dynamic fusion of jazz and contemporary styles. A graduate of the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg (where he now acts as the head of department for jazz and pop-rock), Berklee College of Music, and the Royal Conservatoire of Den Haag David has released five albums on Waltzing-Parke Records, including the ONJL's “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Band”, which won the 2010 International Songwriting Competition (Jazz category). His latest release, “NE:X:T”, was nominated for two Independent Music Awards. David has collaborated with the Luxembourg Philharmonic under the baton of Gast Waltzing, working with renowned artists like Richard Bona, China Moses, and Morgane Ji, and served as the touring guitarist for Angélique Kidjo’s symphonic performances, with three arrangements of his featured on her Grammy-winning album “Sings”. In 2021, he published two music theory textbooks titled “Cogs and Wheels”.
