A-Major The Musician

Known as the self-proclaimed one man band, A-Major is a Canadian recording artist, songwriter, beat maker, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer whose genres range from Hip-Hop, Reggae to Dance and Electronic. A-Major competed in many competitions and festivals across Ontario with his high school bands as well as in Ottawa and New York as a percussionist. He then attended York University and earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Specialized Honours degree in Music while studying Classical Piano. A-Major wrote and co-produced his first song at age 15 with a family friend, it was not until 2012 when he started to pursue music full time and release his material online. 2012 was also a year where A-Major began getting into Rap battling and performing at open mic and spoken word functions at school and throughout the city of Toronto. To date, after remixing, tweaking and re-releasing songs on a few projects on SoundCloud, A-Major has released a series of mixtapes and EP's.
