My life is a sonata. I started off as a musician, became an advertising exec, then a Marketing Communications consultant, then the Chairman of the Board of an Indian media company and now I'm back to writing and performing. ABA. My primary influences are Bach, Bird, John Hartford and McCoy Tyner. I write and perform primarily Americana music - although I wander into Neo-American Songbook territory. In addition to songs, I create a lot of instrumental music. My primary instruments are piano/keyboard and an array of guitars. I am a pretty good mandolin/mandola player, an acceptable fiddle/viola player & banjo player. I am a good enough bass player, drummer and lap steel player to round out my recordings. I live in appropriately-named Plano, Texas with my wonderful wife and our dogs.
